Getting started with OnLot

OnLot is where your rental business runs day to day — the fleet board, checkouts and check-ins, reservations, waivers, and everything else your team touches.

Your workspace has its own address

Every business on OnLot gets its own workspace at an address like:

your-business.onlot.app

That address is your team's home: bookmark it, and sign in there with the email and password your administrator set up for you.

Lost the address?

Go to onlot.app and type your business name into Find your OnLot — it takes you straight to your team's sign-in page. If you're not sure of the exact spelling, ask a teammate or your administrator.

First sign-in

Your administrator creates your account — there's no self-serve registration inside a workspace. You'll either receive an invitation email with a link to set your password, or your administrator will hand you a temporary password that OnLot asks you to change the first time you sign in.

Once you're in, the dashboard shows what matters right now: what's out, what's due back today, and what's overdue.

Finding your way around

Everything lives in the sidebar, grouped the way a rental day works — Operate, Fleet, People, Company — and the top bar holds search (press / to jump to it), the location switcher on multi-lot businesses, quick create (+), the notification bell, and your avatar. Modules your business doesn't use simply don't appear.

Prefer a dark screen? Open your avatar menu and choose ☾ Dark mode — it's a personal setting, per account, and light stays the default.
